Utilization of Nature displays the exhibits of 900 artifacts in a 1500m©÷ permanent exhibition hall(1F) and consists of four themes dealing with utilization of energy, machinery, information, and transportation. Through these displays, we can understand changes in the utilization of nature from ancient times to the present.

Principle of Nuclear Power
Nuclear Power, which is called the third fire, is the energy source for today's modern society. This exhibit is designed to promote better understanding of the nuclear power system and the use of nuclear energy. It presents the construction of a nuclear power plant and its principles- the effect of radiation, and the economic advantages and necessity of nuclear power. |

Virtual Reality
This Virtual Reality system combines the participant's image with an interactive computer generated vitual world. When you I see yourself on monitor, just reach out through "videl gesture", and trigger visible or invisble icons to score points, manipulate animation, bodypaint, or play a virtual drumkit. |
